It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Curtis Norby of Durant, Iowa, who passed away on June 27, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Norby and Elaine Amunson; his sisters, Peggy Hinrickson and Nora Jane Parr; and his brothers-in-law, Jack Parr and Whitey Mauch.
He is survived by: his wife Birdie of Durant; his children, DJ Norby (Erin) of Wilton, Curt Norby (Monica Jessen) of Sioux City and Billie Norby of Lone Tree, Iowa; his grandchildren, Tyler, Sky, Dillan, Ethan and Eli; his sisters, Kaye Mauch of Castana and Gaye Smeal (Mike "Patch") of Snyder, Nebraska; and his brother-in-law Charles Hinrickson of Castana.
