She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Varney and Wanda Varney (Batchelor); her husband Kenneth C. Korthaus Sr.; her son Kenneth Jr.; her granddaughter Jaidean; her great grandchild William; and her siblings, Della, Robert Jr., Tom Sr., Richard and Stephen.
She is survived by: her daughters, Pamela Stecher (Dean) of Stockton, IA, Deanna DeKeyrel (Don) of Illinois City, IL and Wanda Gott of Wilton, IA. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bentley Funeral Home - Durant (1001 6th St, Durant, IA 52747).
Memorials may be made to the Durant Ambulance or the Durant American Legion Auxiliary.
