He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kempf and Mary Lowene Kempf (Burr); and his brother-in-law Darrell Larsen. He is survived by: his wife Donna M. Beavers; his sister Pat Larsen of Hampton, Iowa; his niece Kathy Kauffman; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ian, Emma and Aynslay; and his nephews, Brian Larsen and Al Larsen (Lynn).
Memorials may be given to the Durant American Legion, Post #430 in his memory.
