Alberta Knudsen Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alberta Knudsen of Durant, Iowa, who passed away on July 19, 2023 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Alberta Knudsen to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Christian and Lanora Paustian (Laverenz); her husband James Knudsen; her son-in-law Russell Riessen; her siblings, Dilver, Chris Paustian and Jean Mumm; and her brother-in-law William Welch.

She is survived by: her daughter Mary Riessen of Durant; her grandchildren, Sara Carter (Keith) of Cedar Rapids, Benjamin Riessen of Davenport and James Riessen (Michelle) of Davenport; her great grandchildren, Brady Riessen, Isaac, Lillian Riessen, Ava Elaine, Marcus and Max Carter; and her sister Lucille Welch of Plainfield, Illinois. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to Beacon of Hope Hospice in her memory.
