She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Schultz and Emma Schultz (Ellerbach) of Holy Cross; her siblings, Janice LeGrand, LaVonne Brimeyer, Carol Errthum and David Schultz; her brothers-in-law, Robert LeGrand, Nick Errthum, Earl Brimeyer and Jimmy Klein; her in-laws, Leonard, Anna Schmidt, Chery Schmidt, Angie Schmidt and Judy Schmidt; and her granddaughter Molly Schmidt.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Schmidt of Durango, IA; her children, Barbara Hess (Danny) of Edgewood, Carla Hess (Randy) of Dubuque, Peggy Ostrander (Brick Jones) of Forney, Tommy Schmidt (Kimberly Rawson) of Elkader and Patrick Schmidt (Ashley) of Dubuque; and her grandchildren, Austin Hess (Alison), Hanna Jaster (Ryan), Joshua Brimeyer (Kerry), Shelby Duehr (Riley), Shawn Ostrander (Sara), Jason Jones, Whitney Jones, Zach Jones, Paige Jones, Malerie Schmidt, Montanna Schmidt, Monica Schmidt, Lily Schmidt and Sawyer Schmidt. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
