He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence Smith (Stieghorst) and Loran F. Smith; his wife Nicolette; his sister Marge (Summers); and his son Robert.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff (Janet), Craig, Dane (Kelly), Darryl (Shari) and Lauren; and his grandson Bobby.
