Virginia Klein Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Klein (Dunlap, Iowa), who passed away on March 3, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Virginia Klein to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Hanigan and Catherine Hanigan (Murphy); her husband Gerald "Jerry" Klein; and her siblings, Marie Houston, John Hanigan, Kathleen Janssen, Margie Brosnahan and Jerry Hanigan.
She is survived by: her children, Joe Klein (Jane) of Harlan, Tom Klein (Mary) of Dunlap and Karen Staley (Tom) of Charter Oak, Iowa. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
A rosary was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (509 S 3rd St, Dunlap, IA 51529). Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A prayer was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations to go: Catholic Daughters of America Saint Monica Court # 300, 4 County Fair or Dunlap Fire and Rescue.
