It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Steven Nichols of Dunlap, Iowa, born in Moorhead, Iowa, who passed away on July 2, 2023, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Gertrude Ann (Mentzer) and Russell Wayne Nichols; and his sister Patricia Ann. He is survived by: his former wife Karen Ann Torbensen; his son Austin Nichols (Leilani) of Mesa, Arizona; his grandchildren, Anthony Michael Pacheco and Maliyah Rose Nichols; and his siblings, Russell Alan Nichols of Dunlap, Kevin Eugene Nichols of Dunlap, Lori Ann Brummer (Robert) of Denison and Karen Kay Schmidt (Delbert) of Denison, Iowa. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family to be distributed to Steve's favorite charities.
