With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Robert Cogdill of Dunlap, Iowa, born in Coleridge, Nebraska, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Cogdill and Doris Cogdill (Allen); his wife Mildred Cogdill; his children, Edwin Cogdill and Doris Montang; his grandsons, Ryan and Bryan Cogdill; and his sisters, Rose Hefner, Maxine Haisch, Marge Johnson, Mildred Hansen, Ella Rastede and Marilyn Cogdill.
He is survived by: his children, Sam Cogdill (Sue) of Dunlap, Pat Cogdill (Joyce) of Dunlap, Tim Cogdill (Susan) of Dunlap, Tony Cogdill (Linda) of Panama, Frank Cogdill (JoEtt) of Dunlap and Martha Rose (Richard) of Dunlap; and his children-in-law, Barbara Cogdill of Ankeny and Patrick Montang of Council Bluffs. He is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; over 50 great-grandchildren; two great great grandsons; many nieces and nephews; three brothers-in-law; one sister-in-law; and many other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be given to: Dunlap Fire & Rescue, Dunlap Food Pantry or for a scholarship in memory of Bob & Mildred.
