It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of JoAnn Stessman of Dunlap, Iowa, who passed away on January 16, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Heffernan and Helen Heffernan (Shanahan); and her siblings, Joe, Tim Heffernan and Janet Feser.
She is survived by: her former husband Donald Stessman; her husband Donnie Stessman of Dunlap; her children, Mike Stessman (Katie) of Des Moines, Marty Stessman (Heather) of Topeka, Janet (Shawn Vaughan) of Omaha, Patrick Stessman (Diane) of Omaha and Len Stessman (Jen) of Omaha; and her brother Mike Heffernan of Bonner Springs, Kansas. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
