With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evelyn Schlensig of Dunlap, Iowa, who passed away on April 23, 2021 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Timm and Emma Timm (Torgerson); her husband Bob Schlensig; her son David Lee Schlensig; her son-in-law Elmer Melby; and her siblings, Walter Timm, Marina Theis and Irma Nelson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Janelle Melby of Dunlap and Judy (Tom Gray) of Weston, Nebraska; and her grandchildren, Chrissy Waido (David), Nicki Bordovsky (Kevin), Teresa Kepford, Darcy Behrendt (Nick), Doug Melby (Jill), Pam Melby and Emily Wrenn (Chris). She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
