He was predeceased by : his parents, Paul Davie and Claribel Davie (Lambert); his sons, John Donald and Mitchell Jay; and his siblings, Lois Anderson, Frank, Jim, Paul and John Davie.

He is survived by : his former life partner Jane Smith; his wife Jane Davie of Dunlap; his children, Maria Davie of Humboldt, Laurie (Larry Klein) of Dunlap and Matthew Davie (Dawn) of Logan, Iowa; his daughter-in-law Marilyn Davie of Denison, Iowa; and his sister Myra (Clifford Gene Peterson) of Omaha, Nebraska. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
