He was predeceased by: his siblings, Billy and Vicky Henkelman; his son-in-law Michael Murphy; and his brothers-in-law, David Young and Jerry Kloewer.
He is survived by: his children, Cathy Murphy of Dunlap, Steve Fouts of Dunlap, Geoff Fouts (Tracy) of Council Bluffs, Ron Fouts (Mary) of Dunlap, Mike Fouts of Dunlap and Terry Fouts (Shannon) of Dunlap; his siblings, Pauline Kloewer of Harlan, Phil Fouts (Anita) of Woodbine, Kenneth Fouts (Janice) of Dunlap, Phyllis Peterson (WD "Pete") of Sahuarita, Becky Young of Mesa and Jim Fouts (Peggy) of Dow City, Iowa; and his brother-in-law Tom Henkelman of Omaha. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; many great and great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Dunlap Fire and Rescue.
