She is survived by: her child Erin (Katie); her brother Dale Baker; and her children, Jack Swanson (Janet), Jill Rourke (Larry) and Katie Smith.
As a final contribution to others, Marilyn donated her body to Des Moines University for anatomical and surgical research.
