It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Jeanne Rathe of Dunkerton, Iowa, who passed away on June 6, 2022, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bert Canfield and Ruby Canfield (Wilkin). She is survived by: her husband Allan Lee Rathe of Dunkerton; her children, Anne Otte (Dale) of Altoona, Daniel Rathe (Jennifer) of Eldridge, Rachel Rathe (Colton) of Peoria and Michael Rathe (Kylie) of Waterloo; her grandchildren, Avery, Elyse, Luke Otte, Brylee, Mason, Clara Rathe and Gideon Rathe; her siblings, Cheryl Moore of Cedar Rapids, Ilene Miller (Don) of Waterloo and Earl Canfield (Jane) of Dunkerton; and her parents-in-law, Dean Rathe (Elsie) of Viroqua, Kent Rathe (Laurie) of Whitehall, Montana, David Rathe (Joanne) of Creston, Jonathan Rathe (Ronda) of Dunkerton and Joel Rathe (Shelly) of Waterloo. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
