She was predeceased by: her parents, John Charles McConnell and Eula Irene McConnell (McIntosh); her husband Ronald Edward Aschbrenner; and her siblings, Charles McConnell, Patricia McConnell and Beatrice Weakland.

She is survived by: her children, Steven Aschbrenner of Albia, Cindi Rigdon (Travis) of Dunkerton and Nathaniel Aschbrenner; and her sisters, Mary Klenk of Monona and Linda Mullins (Charles) of Trenton, Missouri.. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
