Ilyene Beatrice Primmer Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ilyene Beatrice Primmer of Dunkerton, Iowa, who passed away on October 11, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Franklin and Sarah Paulinda Gilson (Thomas); her husband James Primmer; her daughter Leoda "Dodie" Amos; and her siblings, Sharon Hammond and Laverne Gilson.
She is survived by: her former husband Arthur Frank; her children, Russell, Russ (Janet), Sheila Simniok of Waterloo and Laura Hartness of Waterloo; her son-in-law Jerome Amos, Jr. of Waterloo; her brother Iner Gilson of Raymond; and her sister-in-law Beverly Gilson of Oelwein. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren.
Due to state and federal guidance on gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing will be required. Those in attendance are encouraged to wear a mask at the funeral home.
