He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Risse and Mary Risse (Burk). He is survived by: his daughter Leslie Pecenka of Dunkerton; his grandchildren, Hailey Lynn Pecenka of Waterloo, Joseph William Pecenka of Gilbertville, Trevor Alexander Pecenka (Bailey) of Gilbertville and Ariana Kara Parizek of Waterloo; and his siblings, Linda Maurer of Africa and Gregory Risse of Waterloo. He is also survived by five nieces and nephews; and many great-nieces and nephews.
