He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Wakeman and Evelyn Wakeman (Powers); and his grandson Jason Sweazey. He is survived by: his wife Linda Wakeman (Dahl); his children, Amanda Wakeman (John Sweazey) and Joseph Wakeman (Kristin); his great grandchildren, Stephanie Hutchinson (Gerod), Nicole Sweazey, Kinley, Garner Hutchinson, Zoey and Lewis Wakeman; and his brother John "Joe" Wakeman.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to family discretion.
