He is survived by: his wife Alice (Smith); his children, Daniel Scharf (Tracy), Shadd Scharf (Sara), Aaron "Bones" Morriss and Dena Sytsma (Keith); his grandchildren, Baylee, Daryan, Charly, Jaedyn, Dillon, Samuel and Emma; and his siblings, Bruce Scharf (Marcia) and Colleen Smith (Roger).
Memorials in memory of Dean may be directed to the discretion of the family.
