He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Halter and Alice Halter (Shenowitz); and his wife LaVonne F. Morris. He is survived by: his son Kevin Halter (Tamra) of Dumont; his grandsons, Roy Halter of Hampton and Jesse Halter of Hampton; and his brothers, Bill Halter of Ackley and Larry Halter of Alaska.
