He was predeceased by: his parents, Nordahl Anderson and Irene Anderson (Nonnweiler); and his siblings, Diane Christensen and Joel Anderson. He is survived by: his wife Paula Bahnsen of Dumont; his children, Benjamin Anderson (Carson Cary) of Des Moines, Matthew Anderson of Waterloo and Katy Hull (Mitch) of Waterloo; his parents-in-law, Westly "Bud" and Pauline Bahnsen of Mason City; his siblings-in-law, Chris Bahnsen (Linh) of Theodora, AL, Carrie Waldbillig (Ron) of Kansas City, MO and Kristy Anderson of Forest City; and his nieces and nephews, Adam Anderson (Lindsey) of Fertile, Carsten Bahnsen of Kennesaw, GA, Jenn Miller (Josh) of Fertile, Laurie Walls (Mike) of Kansas City, MO and Olivia Fitts (Jason) of Olathe, KS. He is also survived by many great nieces and nephews; cousins and friends.
He attended cardiac rehab for many years before he was unable due to the Covid outbreak.
