With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronald Dean Viet of Dumont, Iowa, who passed away on February 24, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Viet and Arlean Viet (Hopkes); his daughter Dawn Ranae Kangley; and his brothers, Gerald Viet (Kathryn) and Galen Viet (LaDonna).
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Viet of Dumont; his son Donald Viet (Donna) of Hampton; his grandchildren, Coleman Kangley (Tiffany) of Minonk, Illinois, Ethan Viet (Jessica) of Hampton and Carlee Bohman (Tanner) of Latimer; his great grandchildren, Braelynn Ranae, Vera Jane Kangley of Minonk, Kinsley James and Beckham Lynn Viet of Hampton; and his sister Sharon Uhlenhopp of Hansell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
