She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo M. Burns and Nereida Burns (Monitjo); her husband Al Heiberger; her mother-in-law Katherine Heiberger; her nephew Riki Hall; and her sisters-in-law, Pat and Mary.
She is survived by: her children, Angey Lochner (Ashley) and Michael Heiberger (Jamie); her grandchildren, Katelynn, Garrett, Lindy, Piper and Griffen; her siblings, JoAnn DePauw (Tim), John Burns (Karen), Gary Burns (Kelly) and Jaime Burns (Devra); her in-laws, Betty and Sandy; and her pet Snow.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Catherines Catholic Church (5213 St Catherine Rd, Dubuque, IA 52003). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Bonnie's name.
