He is survived by: his wife Judy; his sons, Curtis Sabers of Central City, IA, Brian Sabers (Sue) of Durango and Alan Sabers of Dubuque; his daughter-in-law Sheila Sabers of Rickardsville, IA; his grandchildren, Hunter Sabers (Emily) of Altoona, IA, Noah Sabers (Jackie Brock) of Minneapolis, MN, Quiana Sabers of Durango, IA, Isaiah Sabers of Durango, IA, Chase Sabers (Liv King) of Sageville, IA and Zachary Sabers of Sageville, IA; his great grandchild Ellie Sabers of Altoona, IA; his siblings, Steve Sabers (Leann) of Dubuque, Sandra Helbing of Dubuque and Nita Kremer (Roger) of Dubuque; and his siblings-in-law, Julie Sabers of Dubuque and Gary Fagan (Jeanette) of Dubuque. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established for Holy Spirit Parish - Holy Ghost Catholic Church and Hospice of Dubuque - East Team.
