He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis "Bud" Hagerty and Colette Hagerty (Donahue) of Bankston, Iowa.; his brother Gerald; and his brothers-in-law, Jim, Joe Gartner, Donald Kirkpatrick, Matthew Cottrell, Pedro Martinez and Douglas Staggs.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon (Gartner) of Dyersville, Iowa.; his children, Josh Hagerty (April) of Dyersville, Heidi Klein (Todd) of Holy Cross and Margie Sheridan (Tony) of Peosta; and his grandchildren, Ava, Kaitlyn, Gage, Gertie, Leah, Dottie and Luke.
