He is survived by: his children, Tony Habel (Kerry) of Dubuque, Kim Habel of Dubuque and Vicki Splinter (Jim) of Mound, MN; his grandchildren, Josh Habel (Alice) of Springfield, MO, Monica Sitarski (Bart) of Chicago, IL, Stephen Habel (Audrey) of Dubuque, Averi Hoen (Kyle) of Shorewood, MN and Haley Meschke (Tim) of Carver, MN; his great grandchildren, Charlie, Edith Habel, Sophia, Lukas Sitarski and Layla Habel; his brother Bob Habel of Dubuque; and his sisters-in-law, Mert of Dubuque, Dorothy of Dubuque and Marlene Habel of Dubuque.
