She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Marilyn Butler; her friends, Cindy, John, Jeannie, Danny, Suzy, Glen, Jeanne and Garry Heiar; her husband John Priest; her children, John "Jay" Priest of Warwick, NY, Todd and Tina Priest of Dubuque; her grandchildren, Tristan Priest and Trinity Priest; her sister Connie Goedert (Denny); her nephew DJ Goedert (Catana); her niece Emalee Goedert; her sisters-in-law, Lynda Kluesner, Donna Hayes (Ronnie) and Connie Howell; her niece Jamie Bahl (Dave); her brothers-in-law, Michael Priest of Milwaukee, WI. and Kenneth Lynch; her uncles, Carroll Oleson (Jan), Terry Oleson (Sue) and Bob Oleson; her father Thomas E. Howell; her siblings, Randy L. Howell and Debbie; her stepfather Thomas Butler; her parents-in-law, Donald Priest and Rosemary Priest; and her siblings-in-law, Sharon Priest and David Kluesner. She was also cherished by many other nieces, nephews and cousins.

In leu of flowers, memorials May be given to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Hospice of Dubuque or Stonehill Community Care Facility.
