He is survived by: his mother Venita McLaughlin (Entringer); his wife Cindy Thul; his children, Ryan Kraft, Amy Meisenburg (Tim), Angie Gantenbein (Jake) and Molly McLaughlin; his grandchildren, Carson, Cameron, Chloe and Cooper Meisenburg; his siblings, Sheila Brewer, Nola Hinderman (John), Tom McLaughlin (Jane), Mary Jane McLaughlin, Sharon Busch (Ed), John McLaughlin (Barb), Ellen Reuter (Jeff), Carol Wilson (Dave), Marilyn Thoma (A. J.) and Bob McLaughlin (Vicky); his mother-in-law Carole Thul; his siblings-in-law, Nick Thul, Lisa Thul-Remick (Stacie) and Tracy Connolly (Pat); and his godchildren, Jessie Bennett, Heather Busch and Riley Connolly. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a Walter "Wally" W. McLaughlin Memorial Fund has been established.
