He was predeceased by: his father Terrance Thompson (Donna); and his grandparents, Robert, Karen Spechtenhauser and Gene Thompson. He is survived by: his mother Robyn Spechtenhauser (Robert "Red") of Quasqueton, IA; his wife Julie Petsch; his grandmother Karen Thompson; his siblings, Krystal Thompson, Tiffany Lappert, Dakota and Cameron Thompson; his stepsiblings, Brandy Phend, Brandon and Brittany Horkheimer; his parents-in-law, Joel and Candi Petsch; and his sister-in-law Marie Pillard (Scott). He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Egelhof, Siegert & Casper Funeral Home and Crematory (2659 John F Kennedy Rd, Dubuque, IA 52002). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
