He was predeceased by: his parents, James Sutter and Carol Sutter (Horch); and his sister Cindy Richey. He is survived by: his brothers, Jay, Fred, Bill, Bob of East Dubuque, IL and Sam of Arizona; his siblings-in-law, Tammy Sutter of East Dubuque, IL and Tom Richey of Central City, IA; his friends, Joe Kruser and Jason Ludwig; his nieces and nephews, Tommy (Robyn), Nicki (Breck), Crystal (Keith), Freddy, Tylor, Kelly, Missy and Amber (Nick); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kaylee, Hank, Emerson, Emma, Emelia, Nash and Alijah. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers a Troy J. Sutter Memorial Fund has been established.
