He is survived by: his children, Jeff Thilmany (Jeannie) of Streamwood, IL, Lynn Thilmany, Inver and Julie Theis (Dave) of Dubuque, IA; and his grandchildren, Christopher Theis (Amanda Adams), Katey Theis, James Alvarez (Amber) and Lydia Alvarez.
