He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Kane and Mary Kane (Urbain); his wife Kaye; his brothers, Paul Kane (Grace) and Joe Kane (Angella); and his stepdaughter Betty Reeg.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Barbara Pauley (Mike Howard) of Dubuque, Debra Cryderman (Jerry) and Stan Reeg of DeWitt. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations be sent to Hospice of Dubuque.
