With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas H. Berndt of Dubuque, Iowa, born in Albert Lea, Minnesota, who passed away on November 13, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Berndt and Eliza Berndt (Finnegan); his sisters, Eliza Upton and Marguerite Berndt; and his nephew William Upton.

He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Michael Upton, Timothy Upton, Kathleen Burris (Ben), Mary Upton and Peggy Upton. He is also survived by several great nephews and a great niece.
