With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Sybil Jean Schroeder of Dubuque, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert McLaughlin and Janell McLaughlin (Boles); her grandson Mark Schroeder; and her sister Doris Jones. She is survived by: her husband Stanley Schroeder; her sons, Richard (Sharon), David (Sharon) and Jeffery (Wandy); her grandchildren, Lindsey Morris (Brett), Katherin Fishwild (Zach), Brock Schroeder, Elizabeth Schroeder, Lauren Gilson (TC), MaryBeth Schroeder and Rylee Schroeder; her great grandchildren, Gemma Fishwild, Ezra Fishwild, Devin Pettaway, Elle Gilson, Charles Gilson, Joel Schroeder, Everhett Morris and Cosette Morris; her siblings, Glenna Reynolds, Robin Nims (Jack) and David McLaughlin; and her sister-in-law Kathleen Schroeder.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Egelhof, Siegert & Casper Funeral Home and Crematory (2659 John F Kennedy Rd, Dubuque, IA 52002). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Spirit Parish (2215 windsor Ave, Dubuque, IA 52001).
