She was predeceased by: her parents, George C. Dodd and Helen Dodd (Wolf); her uncle Vern; her aunt Violet "Vi" White; her former husband J. B. Prochaska; her son David Wayne Prochaska; her grandson Patrick Prochaska; her sisters, Barbara McLaughlin and Sandy Rivera; and her cousins, Jean Frommelt, Betty Verhorevoort, Lynn Ann Stewart and Candy Runde.
She is survived by: her husband Richard J. "Dick" Kiefer; her daughter Pennie Drew (Gary) of Jesup, IA; her grandchildren, Hannah Prochaska and Brooke Prochaska; her stepchildren, Kraig Kiefer (Nikki) and Kelley Duehr; her brother Jim Dodd (Sarah) of Lake Havasu, AZ; and her cousin Kristy Dalen. She is also survived by 11 step-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren.
