He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy Cain and Jeaninne Cain; and his grandparents, Carl, Margaret Hocking and Catherine Cain.

He is survived by: his sisters, Kim Healey (Dale) and Kelly Miller (Kevin) of Muscatine, Iowa.; his nephew Skyler Healey; and his close friend Steven. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, a Steven Cain Memorial Fund has been established.
