Shirley Hanley Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 20, 2023, at the age of 91, Shirley Hanley (Dubuque, Iowa), born in Wesley, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lickteig and Mary Lickteig (Ohmes); her spouse Farrell "Frank" Hanley; her sons, Mike and John; her siblings, Urban, Edna, Dennis, Don, Carmel, Jack, Ann and Jerry; and her sister-in-law Patricia Wagner (Howard).
She is survived by: her children, Patricia "Patty" Kopp (Thomas) of Dubuque, Dan Hanley (Michele) of Normal, Kate Mayer (John) of Algona, Sue Stammeyer (Matt) of Dewitt and Jeff Hanley (Laurie) of Dubuque; and her daughter-in-law Mary Hanley of Rochester, Minnesota. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; and 15 great- grandchildren.
A Shirley Hanley Memorial Fund has been established where donations will be distributed to her favorite charities.
