She was predeceased by: her parents, William Oster and Evelyn Oster (Sassen); her husband James "Jim" Baker; her son-in-law Dr. C. H. "Breg" Bregman; her granddaughter-in-law Dottie Bregman; and her siblings, Virginia Dempsey, William Oster and Robert Oster.
She is survived by: her children, Lueann Bregman (Alvin Cox) of Cozumel, Mexico, Terry Strub (Debee) of LaMotte, IA, Vicki Weber (Francis) of Dubuque, Peter Strub (Denise) of Travelers Rest, SC and Janet Shepherd (Stephen) of Cave Creek, AZ; and her grandchildren, Chuck Bregman, Bonnie Margheim (Charles "Chaz" Shaw), Cody Strub (Staci), Chris Strub (Pam), Amy Kirman (Tim Dague), Keith Weber (Crista), Eric Weber (Laura), Sean Strub, Nathan White (Ethan Hupp) and Emily Patel (Samir). She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.
