She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Cota and Margaret Cota (O'Regan); and her husband Frank A. Ernst. She is survived by: her sons, Greg Ernst of Dubuque, Brian Ernst (Sarah) of Cedar Rapids and Brett Ernst (Samantha) of Decatur, Georgia; her grandchildren, Braden, Regan and Theia Ernst; her siblings, Cindy Grace (Pat), Mary Cota, Jane McLaughlin (Tom) and Mike Cota (LeAnne); and her sister-in-law Karen Kieffer. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
