It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald E. Johnson of Dubuque, Iowa, who passed away on February 19, 2025, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ronald E. Johnson to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gayland Johnson and Beverly Johnson (Becker); his brothers, Jay and Donald; and his brother-in-law Randy Laufenberg.
He is survived by: his sisters, Vicki Laufenberg and Kathy Jaeger (Steve); his nieces and nephews, Ed Pickel (Jenifer), Tony Pickel, Sarah Biver (Ben) and Katie Malli (Josh); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jacob Biver (Halie Ristau), Shawn, Derek Biver, Olivia Lang and Avery Pickel; and his uncle AJ Becker (Kim).
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory (2595 Rockdale Rd, Dubuque, IA 52003). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a Ronald Johnson Memorial Fund has been established.
