He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence "Pete" Huss and Modwena Huss (Dolan); his daughter Carol Zartman; his grandson Daniel Kuhle; and his brother Jack Huss.
He is survived by: his children, Jim Huss (Ann) of Iowa City, Edie Kuhle (Tom) of Dubuque, Mary Fink (Bret) of Dubuque, Theresa Doerr (Jeff) of Dubuque and Chris Huss (Angie) of Dubuque. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.
