He is survived by: his children, Russell Boelk (Laurie) of Burrton, KS, David Boelk Sr. of Dubuque and Laura Nielsen (Mike) of Sparta, TN; his stepdaughter Heather Montgomery of New Franklin, MO; his stepdaughter-in-law Jo Ellen Newell of Omaha, NE; his grandchildren, Kristi Hartley, Kara Boelk, David Boelk Jr. of Maquoketa, IA, Margaret Nielsen of Roanoke, VA and Lillian Nielsen of Sparta, TN; his stepgrandchildren, Tommy of Omaha, NE, Jason Newell of Omaha, NE, Sara Storjohann (Evan) of New Franklin, MO, Isaac Montgomery of New Franklin, MO, Kendra Crowley (Kyle) of New Franklin, MO and Angel Willard of New Franklin, MO; and his siblings, Sharon Baker (Dan) of Dubuque, Kathy Stoltz (Ed) of Eldridge, IA, Norm Boelk (Pat) of Bettendorf, IA, Carol Hirsch (Tom) of Florida and Steve Boelk (Sue) of Dubuque. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
