He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Curler and Viola Curler (Donath); his son-in-law Jeff Schueller; his grandson Nicholas Curler; and his brothers, Ralph and David Curler.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Buol of Dubuque; his children, Steven Curler (Rhonda) of Walford, IA and Susan Schueller of Dubuque; his grandson Joe Schueller; his children, Matt Curler (Courtney) of Cedar Rapids, Nikki Schueller of Dubuque, Abby Foreman (Brett) of Lawrence, KS and Sarah Schueller of Dubuque; and his siblings, Millie Freed (George) of Phoenix, AZ, Fred Curler, Jr. of Dubuque, Billy Curler (Robin) of Gladbrook, IA and Donald Curler (Karen) of Dubuque. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Robert "Bob" Curler Memorial Fund.
