She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Link and Elizabeth Link (Vernon); her granddaughter Jessica Collar; and her siblings, Lorraine Shireman (Richard), Marian Brosius (Francis) and Robert Link.
She is survived by: her children, Steven Arlen (Ruth) of Zwingle, IA, Michael Arlen of Dubuque, Richard Arlen (Rachel) of San Jacinto, CA, Leann Arlen of Dubuque, Kay Hawkins (Dave) of Anaheim Hills, CA, Diane Collar (Eric) of Ontario, CA, Laurie Wehrspann (Terry) of Sherrill, IA, Jean Arlen of Bullhead, AZ and Karen Gaul (Dean) of Epworth, IA. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
