He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Spautz and Lorraine Spautz (Bleile); his wife Margaret "Mags" Norris; and his brother Robert Spautz. He is survived by: his children, Jeff Spautz (Paula) of Ramsey, MN, Chris Spautz (Anna) of Dubuque, IA, Jason Spautz (Jessica) of Dubuque, IA and Mark Spautz of Dubuque, IA; his grandchildren, Alex, Addison, Tyler, Dacoda, Chloey, Dawson, Trenton and Brynn; and his siblings, Diane Herrig (Charles) of Dubuque, IA and Michael Spautz of Dubuque, IA. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Behr Funeral Home (1491 Main St, Dubuque, IA 52001). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
