He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse James and Katherine Rogers (Paley); his wife Mary Lou; and his sister Betty Fincel (Joe). He is survived by: his children, James R. Rogers of Dubuque, Keith E. Rogers (Darlene) of Front Royal, Michael A. Rogers (Mollie) of Dubuque, Karen M. Vahle (Dennis) of Dubuque and Gary Rogers (Emmy Gaulke) of Dubuque; his grandchildren, Alva Rose Rogers, Jason Torrance, Megan Fecht (Jared), Tyler Rogers, Amanda Rogers, Michael Vahle, Patrick Vahle and Connor Vahle; and his caregiver Kelli Decker of Hospice.

In lieu of flowers, a Randall J. Rogers Memorial Fund has been established.
