He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen McAndrews and Helen McAndrews (Broderick); his children, Diane, Janet, Patricia, Glen and Angie; his sister Maureen McAndrews; his parents-in-law, Leo and Letitia Merfeld (Rogers); and his in-laws, Mary, Al Tigges, Leonard Merfeld, Margaret, Tom Buchanan, LaVerne Merfeld, Robert Skahill, Eileen, Allan Redmond, Orlie, Mavis Merfeld, Carl Merfeld, Wilfred Merfeld, Grace and Paul Kane.
He is survived by: his wife Madonna Merfeld of Patrick's Garryowen; his son Daniel McAndrews; his grandson Shawn McAndrews; his brothers, David McAndrews (Mary) of Greely, CO and John McAndrews of Dubuque, IA; and his sisters-in-law, Gerry Skahill, Eileen Merfeld and Mary Ann Merfeld.
The family requests no flowers. Memorials may be given to the BVM Sisters and the Veterans Freedom Center.
