She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Leytem and Catherine Leytem (McGrath); her husband Leslie Furuseth; her parents-in-law, Oscar and Neva Furuseth; her siblings, Mary Leytem, Arnold Leytem (Elmeta), Jack Leytem (Lenore), Elaine Meloy (Dorrance), Kay Heiderscheit (Leo) and Joe Leytem (Lois); and her brothers-in-law, Bob Otting, Donald Furuseth (Nancy), Dean Furuseth and Owen Furuseth (Lorraine).
She is survived by: her children, Ann Simcox (Andy) of Dubuque, Sara Houk (Tim) of Norwalk and Jon Furuseth of Key West, Iowa; her grandchildren, Kirsten Rutledge (Kurt), Lauren McMeans (Khalil), Sam, Jack Houk, Clare, Maria, Luke and Abe Simcox; her great grandchildren, Allie, Kam, Eleanor, Jameson and Hank Rutledge; her sister Jean Otting of Cascade; and her sister-in-law Margaret Furuseth of Fennimore. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
