She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Pickel and Monetta Pickel (Wilhelm); and her brother Carl "Butch" Pickel Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Nicolette "Nikki" Kennedy (Steve) of Dubuque, David Frey (Nancee) of Bloomington, IL and Jeremy Frey of Dubuque; her grandchildren, Jennifer Nethery (Mike), Jodi Stelken (Casey), Jerrod Croft, Marissa Cornell, Morgan Cornell, Allison Hamilton (Clayton), Zach Frey (Carly), Connor Frey and Jace Frey (Casper); her brother Michael Pickel (Deanne); and her sister-in-law Maureen Pickel. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.
